Belgian designer Carl de Smet of Noumenon has developed high-tech foam furniture that can be squashed to 5% of its original size for easy transportation and then expanded “like popcorn” by heating it up

These are my images from the Boston Marathon Bombings. I was the first photographer to the site of the second blast. All images were taken within five minutes of the bombings. My hope is that these pictures demonstrate the pain and terror of the situation without damaging the dignity of those with already damaged bodies.
